The Integrated Environment.

The main window opens up the control panel which is the remote control of pICSPeed™ II.

Other windows which can remain permanently displayed include: the Program Memory Window, the Data Memory Window, the Configuration Bits Panel and the Status Window.

The Control Panel.

This window is the remote control of the pICSPeed™ II programming unit.

It has buttons for:

• Programming the device
• Reading the device
• Blank Checking the device
• Verifying the device

This is where all the major programming information is displayed:

• Selected device
• Part file
• Memory file
• Checksum
• IDs
• Serialization file
• Serial Number of next device
• Verifying voltages

This window also has other tabs to set the major operations parameters and options.

Programming a device.

A progress window is displayed during all the device operations to inform the user of what is done already, what is being performed and what is left to do. This gives an idea of how long an operation is going to take.

Configuration Bits Window.

This dialog window is displayed when you want to look at the current configuration bits values or when you want to change them.

Generating a Serialization File.

This dialog window is displayed when generating a serialization file which can be used so that each device can be unique or have a serial number.
